I. Objectives of Talent Cultivation

学院旨在培养道德品质优秀且勇于担当、知识技能扎实卓越且能够担当、社会责任感在心并敢于担当的符合社会主义现代化建设与发展的好青年、好医生。

The College aims to cultivate students with excellent moral character and courage, excellent and solid knowledge and skills, and a sense of social responsibility and courage to become outstanding youth and doctors in line with the construction and development of socialist modernization.

勇于担当：重视学生德育、品行的培养。本着“德育为先”的教育理念，通过党团活动、誓医礼、谢师礼等特色活动，在坚定理想信念、弘扬中国传统文化的同时增加师生交流、培养学生道德品质。

Courage to undertake: The College attaches importance to students' moral education and character cultivation. Based on the educational concept of "moral education first," the College has increased communication between teachers and students and cultivated students' moral character through special activities such as party and league activities, medical oath ceremony, teacher appreciation ceremony, to consolidate ideals and beliefs and promote traditional Chinese culture. 

能够担当：重视学生临床思维、知识、技能的培养。通过灾难意识教育演习、国家紧急医学救援队海（陆）上演练等活动，立足早临床、多临床、反复临床，早现场、多现场、反复现场的培养理念，学院“三全”（全员、全程、全方位）育人，通过助航、续航工程等专项培养计划，开拓学生视野、熏陶学术氛围、强化学习能力、巩固专业知识，达到培养学生“一种精神”（创新精神）、“两种能力”（岗位胜任力和领导力）的目标。

Capable of undertaking: The College attaches importance to the cultivation of students' clinical thinking, knowledge and skills. Through activities such as disaster awareness drills and sea (land) drills for National Emergency Medical Team, the College focuses on the training concepts of early, multiple and repeated clinical practices, and early, multiple and repeated on-site training. In addition, the College adheres to education on all students throughout the whole process and in an all-around way, and develops special training programs, such as the Education Assistance Project and Continuing Education Project, to broaden students' horizons, create an academic atmosphere, strengthen their learning ability, and consolidate their mastery of professional knowledge, so as to cultivate students' "one spirit" (innovation spirit) and "two abilities" (job competency and leadership).

敢于担当：重视学生社会责任感的培养。通过急创大练兵、急创大表彰、暑期“三下乡”社会实践、“我为青春献热血”等品牌活动，不断培养和提升学生的社会责任感。

Dare to undertake: The College attaches importance to the cultivation of students' sense of social responsibility. Through such brand activities as Emergency and Trauma Training, Emergency and Trauma Commendation, Summer Social Practice for Volunteer Activities for the Country People and the event entitled Dedicated to Youth, the College has continuously cultivated and enhanced students' sense of social responsibility.

在急诊创伤学院，不仅能学习到临床医学专业知识，还能学到更扎实的急救知识与技能（心肺复苏，各种包扎方法训练），多种多样的课外趣味活动（迎新晚会、毕业生欢送会、趣味运动会，红色剧本杀，重走红军道路等），更有着一起拼搏奋斗的激情（篮球赛、足球赛、“大创”、“互联网+”、学习团队），感受着急诊大家庭的温暖融洽与快乐（端午寻宝活动、中秋暖心月饼等仪式感），你可以参与其中在急诊多样的活动中展示自己，绽放光彩，使自己的大学生活温馨而精彩。

During your studies at The Emergency and Trauma College, you can learn professional knowledge in clinical medicine as well as more solid knowledge and skills in emergency medicine (training in CPR, various dressing methods). You can participate in a variety of extracurricular interesting activities (welcome party, graduate farewell party, fun games, script murder about revolutionary stories, retracing the path of the Red Army, etc.). Moreover, you can enjoy the passion of fighting together (basketball game, soccer game, College Students' Innovative Entrepreneurial Training Program, China College Students' 'Internet Plus' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, study teams), and the warmth and happiness of the College (treasure hunts at the Dragon Boat Festival, mooncake tasting at the Mid-Autumn Festival, and other rituals). You can demonstrate yourself in the various activities of the College and make your campus life warm and splendid.
